Wendy's has been introducing new items to the menu this summer, such as the Strawberry Frosty and French Toast Sticks.
A beloved sauce, however, is believed to be on the chopping block as a result of all the new farewells.
A person recently posted on Reddit that they were disappointed to see that their local Wendy's no longer offered the Hot Honey Sauce.
Two additional Redditors who claim to work at Wendy's also replied on the topic, saying that their locations' Hot Honey dipping sauce supplies had been cut off.
The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, however, which has hot chicken doused in the chain's Hot Honey Sauce, was specifically mentioned as being available.
One Reddit member commented that they had just bought the sauce to “test” its availability, suggesting that while some stores have begun phasing out the sauce, others still had it accessible.
Earlier this month, Wendy's Hot Honey Sauce wasn't the only fast food condiment taken off the market.
Recently, Burger King discontinued their Ch'King range of sandwiches, which will be succeeded by the Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwiches.
The four sandwich options are "Classic," "Spicy," "Bacon & Swiss Cheese," and "Southern BBQ," and they were first trialed in May in New York City and Virginia.
