Many eateries provide grocery store goodies and condiments. According to two consumers, a frozen dish may not include what it says.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said on July 30 that 87,000 packages of
P.F. Chang's Home Menu Beef & Broccoli meal sold nationwide are being recalled because they may contain orange chicken.
It would contain chicken and egg, recognised allergens, but not list them. This can be problematic for anyone with egg allergies or sensitivities.
Two consumers complained that the beef and broccoli package included chicken, the notice said. "No adverse responses have been reported. If you're injured or sick, see a doctor."
The black packages have a Best By date of May 21, 2023 and lot code 5006 2146 2012.
FSIS is worried that frozen P.F. Chang's Home Menu Beef & Broccoli may be in consumers' freezers.
This isn't the only risky supermarket item in stores now.
Costco members have been notified of a recall on protein drinks offered at the warehouse, as well as other shops. Rare microorganisms may be in 53 products.
